I'm Dr Shimrit Ziv, a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist and Paediatrician with extensive NHS and private practice experience. I specialise in comprehensive, holistic assessment — taking the time to understand the whole child, their family context, their strengths, and their needs.
I see children and young people from early primary school through to late adolescence. I work closely with GPs, schools and other professionals across primary and secondary care.
Alongside my private practice, I hold a clinical and research role with the NHS Young People's Gender Service, East of England, and an academic affiliation with the University of Cambridge.
